At Andre Construction, we feel a strong responsibility to our community, we strive to create local opportunities, and to be a good neighbour. We’re pleased to announce that we’ve established a St. Lawrence College bursary aimed at building diversity in the construction industry and reducing potential hurdles to entry.
The award is available to first-year or returning students in the Civil Engineering Technology program on the Kingston campus. The students must self-identify as Indigenous or a member of the LGBTQ2S+ community and demonstrate financial need.
“We routinely grow our team with graduates from St. Lawrence College Civil Engineering Technologists program,” says Michael Pollock, Vice President at Andre Construction. “We want to eliminate as many barriers as possible for anyone interested in joining our industry.”
