Social responsibility

For over a century we’ve helped Eastern Ontario grow and thrive. We feel a strong responsibility to our community, to create local opportunities, and to be a good neighbour.

For over a century we’ve helped Eastern Ontario grow and thrive. We feel a strong responsibility to our community, to create local opportunities, and to be a good neighbour.

Our team is built on local talent. We engage Kingston-based subcontractors and suppliers whenever possible and we always work with our own Kingston-based employees. We look to grow our team with students and graduates of St. Lawrence College and Queen’s University, and partner with local businesses that help us improve our processes and keep costs down.

We give to a number of local organizations and charities. We also support initiatives that are important to our employees and corporate partners.

We are a proud business member of the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Businesses. Beyond hiring indigenous businesses and employees on our projects, we actively work with related groups to determine how we can best meet the needs of our local  indigenous community.

We are an active member and a board member of the Kingston Construction Association.
