Andre Construction receives OGCA 50-Year Member Recognition Award
Andre Construction is honoured to receive a 50-Year Member Recognition Award from the Ontario General Contractors Association (OGCA). This Member Recognition Award celebrates our five decades as part of the OGCA community and our numerous contributions to the general contracting industry.
The OGCA’s Member Recognition program acknowledges organizations who demonstrate excellence and continually elevate the industry with their creativity and ingenuity. The 50-Year Award is a significant achievement, saluting not only longevity, but meaningful participation, service, and leadership across the sector.
“This award reflects our dedication to building a stronger construction industry in Ontario and to the values that have guided our work since the beginning,” says Michael Pollock, Vice President at Andre Construction.
Andre Construction’s locally built team is a point of pride. Whenever possible, we engage Kingston-based subcontractors and suppliers, partner with local businesses that help improve processes and keep costs down, and look to grow our team with students and graduates of St. Lawrence College and Queen’s University.
We’re also an active business member of the Canadian Council for Aboriginal Businesses. Beyond hiring indigenous businesses and employees on our projects, we actively work with related groups to learn how to best meet the needs of local indigenous communities.
“Our team has helped Eastern Ontario thrive for over a century and we plan to be instrumental in the region’s growth and success for the next hundred years,” says Pollock.
Andre Construction is grateful for their team’s commitment to building strong relationships, driving innovation in construction, and uplifting their community. We would like to thank the Ontario General Contractors Association (OCGA) for this honor.
